The Verdict 2023

Last month, we proudly wrapped up The Verdict—a six-week case competition that brought together 50 brilliant minds to tackle real-world business challenges with the support of dedicated mentors. Through our MentorMatch portal, participants were paired with mentors and provided tools to succeed, including briefing calls, direct messaging with case partners and organizers, consult sessions, and helpful guides. With these resources, contestants worked hard to develop creative solutions to real challenges provided by leading organizations:

1. Addressing Bias in the Canadian Auto Industry (The&Partnership).

2. Highlighting Sobeys’ Commitment to Youth Mental Health (Mediabrands).

3. Recruiting Value-Aligned Associates at The Home Depot (FCB Canada).

And the Winners Are… team ELIT3 —a team of sisters—Taiya, Chandelle, and Keshana King—who won the $10,000 grand prize with their innovative and thoughtful approach. In the individual category, Uche Ezeh earned $2,500 for her outstanding work.
